and execution, with a focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy
projects. HAC personnel have been involved from start to finish,
from pre-feasibility and financial modelling, through to
commissioning and operation.

HAC
specialises in finding efficiencies that will enable renewable
energy technologies to be more affordable for your organisation. The
energy cost savings fund some or all of the investment required for
your renewable energy system. Addressing both the supply and
demand side of your energy use will give your organisation a
competitive advantage as energy prices rise.
Carbon Neutral
HAC assisted the City of Fremantle in becoming Western Australia’s
first carbon neutral Local Government Authority by providing advice to
them in the early days of their project planning and helping to prepare
their greenhouse inventory for audit. We also assisted Tourism WA make
the Australian Tourism Exchange 2008 (several events over the course of
a week) carbon neutral. Our carbon neutral services combine our energy
and carbon management and technology assessment services to provide a
tangible, effective outcome.
Sustainability
As with carbon neutral, HAC’s sustainability services combine
workshops, research and technology assessment to develop and deliver
best practice sustainability plans – from behaviour change to retrofits
– for your organisation.
Policy
The HAC team has a strong background in policy development and
implementation in the government and on-government sectors,
particularly in the areas of climate change, peak oil and sustainable
transport. We can help your organisation plan effective
strategy and policy development, including consultation and advocacy
functions, as well as drafting and refining policies that can be
effectively implemented, monitored and reviewed.
