  • What is our carbon strategy? Could carbon become a competitive advantage?

Compliance

  • Do we have obligations under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act?
  • Do we have obligations under the Energy Efficiency Opportunities Act?
  • Are our reports correct and accurate?
  • What is the risk of an audit? Do we have all our data and decisions documented?
  • Can we reduce the cost of compliance?
  • Can we improve the quality and efficiency of our data and reporting systems?
  • What compliance systems will we need to comply with future carbon legislation?

Project implementation

  • What projects are feasible for our organisation?
  • If these are already known but have not been impelented, why not?
  • Are we eligible for grant funding?
  • How can external project finance be leveraged?
  • Is energy performance contracting a good fit for our organisation?
  • Where can we find skilled and experienced project managers?
